Our Story
Native Nine was founded in 2011 and established as a Limited Liability Company in January of 2014. Native nine was originally influenced by the West African culture with the use of the kente cloth sourced from Monrovia, Liberia, with the intention to partner with local non-profit organizations to build the community with a percentage of our sales revenue.
After traveling to different countries and getting a taste of their unique garments and historic background, we wanted to provide a feel of each place in our pieces. Today the brand has grasp the concept of global influence, handcrafting custom garments, sourcing pieces globally, and partnering with non-profit organizations with the goal to give back to the countries we source from, countries that has inspired our creative endeavors. We want to continue to share our life experiences with you through our pieces, so grab your passport, collect your stamps, and get ready to travel with us through your very own Native nine piece, made with love.
We are currently partnering with our sister company Barbie’s Garden of Hope, a non-profit organization that builds care packages for cancer patients, to learn more please visit barbiesgardenofhope.org
